BRUNSWICK, ME – Matthea “Mattie” Daughtry has been certified for public campaign financing through the Maine Clean Election Act, according to the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Elections Practices. Daughtry was the first candidate running for the Maine State Legislature in District 66 to submit the appropriate signatures and $5 contributions.

All three parties in Brunswick had their candidates drop out of the race for District 66. Now all three parties have picked replacement candidates.

The Republicans picked Grant Connors to be their nominee and the Greens selected Fred Horch.
