NEWS: Daughtry Appointed to be House Chair of College Affordability Commission

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been appointed to be the House Chair of the Commission to Study College Affordability and College Completion!

The thirteen-member commission was created with the passage of LD 1849, “Resolve, To Establish the Commission to Study College Affordability and College Completion.” College Affordability was a key issue for the Youth Caucus this past session. I drafted and gave testimony for the Youth Caucus on the two affordability bills that were before the Education Committee. You can read that testimony by clicking here. If you would like to follow our meetings and keep informed of what we are up to please contact our Committee Clerk Lock Kiermaier, at: kier.consulting@gmail.com, and ask to join our interested parties email list.
